Position Summary: Provides high quality nursing care for assigned patients in a scientific and humanistic focus. The Newly Licensed Registered Nurse (NLRN) utilizes a holistic systems approach to protect and promote client wellness and safety in the physiological, psychological, social cultural, developmental and spiritual domains. Nursing interventions are interdisciplinary, age specific and are directed toward optimal wellness. The NLRN is a nurse who is in their first year of nursing practice. This role ends on the one‐year anniversary of their hire date. At this time, the NLRN transitions to the role of Staff Registered Nurse.
