Job Summary: Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or health professional. Works within their full scope of practice and ensures that high quality and safety is consistently delivered. Directly reports to the practices Nurse Manager. Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse will administer medication to perform moderate sedation; participate in diagnostic and treatment procedures in SUNY Upstate Electrophysiology Lab. Responsibilities in this role will include but not limited to: Documenting activities of patient care and testing. Assist physicians in testing and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias in the Electrophysiology lab. Communicate results of testing to cardiologist/electrophysiologist, nursing and case managers.
