Position: CQI RN Clinical Quality Asst Department : CQI Shift: Full Time – Days - Exempt ‍ PURPOSE The primary focus of the position of Clinical Quality Assistant is to perform data collection and analysis of continuous quality improvement initiatives, patient and environmental safety information, medical record review for clinical pertinence and focused special studies. Perform concurrent chart review to assess CMS and Joint Commission quality measures and documentation of care. The Clinical Quality Assistant is also responsible for supporting compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission and Ohio Dept. of Health standards, recommendations and mandates. Accountability extends to ensuring timely completion of reports, identifying data for established patient safety quality measures, and assisting with documenting and tracking data specifications.
