Firestone Surgery Center - Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator - Full Time

Firestone Surgery Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our team at our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center in Columbiana, Ohio . This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN looking for a PRN, Part-Time or Full-Time role in a multi-specialty and fast-paced surgical setting. Responsibilities: Assess patient and family needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients. Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to Standards of Practice and organizational policies and procedures and prepares the Operating Room accordingly. Responsible for efficient and effective patient care and quality improvement. Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies and personnel to provide efficient case management. Considers cost containment by using supplies economically and in effective turnover time. Maintains an adequate inventory for assigned area, including, but not limited to, equipment and supplies and assists with the ordering, receiving and storage of supplies. Demonstrates a professional manner. Participates in Quality Committee(s), Safety Training programs and completes required competencies Maintains current knowledge, certification and licensure Responsible for other duties as assigned. Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements: Must possess a current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse Minimum of two years OR nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications Preferred: Previous ASC experience Circulating experience in the following specialties: Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gastroenterology and Plastics PALS certification

CQI RN Clinical Quality Assistant

Position: CQI RN Clinical Quality Asst Department : CQI Shift: Full Time – Days - Exempt ‍ PURPOSE The primary focus of the position of Clinical Quality Assistant is to perform data collection and analysis of continuous quality improvement initiatives, patient and environmental safety information, medical record review for clinical pertinence and focused special studies. Perform concurrent chart review to assess CMS and Joint Commission quality measures and documentation of care. The Clinical Quality Assistant is also responsible for supporting compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission and Ohio Dept. of Health standards, recommendations and mandates. Accountability extends to ensuring timely completion of reports, identifying data for established patient safety quality measures, and assisting with documenting and tracking data specifications. This position may also require the employee to perform other related duties and activities as assigned by the Department Head. QUALIFICATIONS Active Registered Nurse Ohio license required Current clinical knowledge of acute patient centered care. Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written. Working knowledge of CQI tools. Working knowledge of standards (i.e., JC, third party benchmarks, Physician Specialty Standards of Care, etc.) for measuring performance. PC skills and the ability to graphically display monitored results to facilitate analysis. Patient Care Assistant (STNA)

SRMC Has an Exciting Opportunity for Qualified Candidates! Position: Full Time Patient Care Assistant (PCA) ‍ Department : Tower 2 - Med / Surg Shift: 0.9 or 36 hr week, 7a-730p, 12 hr shift ‍ PURPOSE Under the supervision of the Unit Director or as directed by the Registered Nurse, performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. The patient population to whom care is delivered, may include newborns, toddlers, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma preferred but not required. Ability to speak, read, and basic math skills required. Must have completed an approved curriculum for State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) training, and passed the Nurse Aide competency tests for written/oral and clinical skills; or completed the SRMC Patient Care Assistant training course; or completed a Medical Assistant curriculum; or completed an EMT program; or completed the first semester of the physical assessment course in the Nursing Program or completed an LPN training program. After hire, maintaining PCA competencies will be done through skills lab, observation, and written exams, etc. Must have or obtain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (maintains currency of certification). Position: Full Time Medical Assistant Department : Pain Management - Columbiana Shift: Days, 8 hr shift ‍ PURPOSE The primary purpose of a Medical Assistant is to perform assigned duties in an efficient manner, in accordance with the established procedures, and as directed by the Office Manager and/or licensed physician(s) to assure that a successful viable office is maintained at all times.
