Educate patients and families regarding dialysis treatments, medications, nutrition, access care, and other aspects of renal disease management. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of assessments, treatments, interventions, and patient responses. Provide care and monitoring of vascular access sites and report complications or changes promptly. Promote infection prevention and control practices throughout the dialysis treatment process. Participate in patient care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education as required. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the rights, dignity, and safety of each patient. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications for RN Hemodialysis Nurse: Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Previous hemodialysis or renal nursing experience preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification required. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of hemodialysis procedures, vascular access management, medication administration, and infection prevention practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
