Overview Under the supervision of the Ambulatory Administrator or Director, Manager and Medical Director, utilizes the Nursing Process to provide care, coordination of care and patient education to a group of patients, using the medical home mode. Overview The Lead Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for nursing staff coordination within the practice. The Lead Licensed Practical Nurse will participate in the care of patients in a physician office setting by measuring and recording vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, preparing patients for exams/procedures, assisting the health care provider with exams/procedures, providing patient support during exams, maintaining medical supply inventory, and stocking exam rooms.
