Ensure that supplies and equipment necessary for patient care are stored in an organized and efficient manner. 8. Follow appropriate procedure for obtaining and returning or cleaning/disposing of equipment and supplies. 9. Remain conscientious in regard to personal hygiene and comply with specific division/unit regulations. 10. Demonstrates patient/family focus in the provision of care, adhering to standards. 11. Ensures delegated nursing care for patients/families is provided according to plans developed by treatment team and within the confines of the applicable practice acts. 12. Utilizes critical thinking to evaluate the effectiveness of care. 13. Assists patients and families to integrate the impact of illness and recovery into their lifestyles through patient education. 14. Collaborates with care providers in meeting patient care needs. 15.
