Overview The Community Outreach Population Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide primary health care and behavioral health services as a member of a healthcare team comprised of Behavioral Health and Community Outreach RNs, Peers, Community Health Workers, and drivers. The Nurse Practitioner in this role will function within the appropriate scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Healthcare. In this role the NP works on our mobile health clinic (MHC) that travels throughout Sussex County. The MHC has a focus on Behavioral Health and Addiction Medicine. Knowledge of various psychiatric and addiction disorders preferred. Promotes and practices evidence-based treatment standards. Willing to work with students, interns, and residents. Able to work in a cooperative setting and interested in collaborating with a dynamic, developing behavioral health and addiction medicine team. Responsibilities Demonstrates competency in performance of scrub/surgical routines and aseptic technique--utilizes proper scrub, gown and gloving technique for self, surgeon, and assistant; ongoing monitoring of asepsis in all roles--scrub, circulator, and assistant; anticipates needs of surgeon; consistently recognizes sequence of procedures in all roles--scrub, circulator, and assistant; passes instruments correctly; appropriate review and preparation for assigned procedures. Understands and utilizes established guidelines for operation of autoclaves and steris units--performs daily A-Test/Biological tests as required; performs proper care, handling, and assembly of instruments for processing; ensures complete/thorough documentation of all flash and steris cycles as per protocol. Overview Beebe Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Vascular Access RN (PICC) to provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring vascular access services. This role is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients needing intermediate care, including the insertion and management of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) and other vascular access devices. Will be required to work varied shifts including some weekend and holiday requirements. The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical expertise in vascular access, strong decision-making abilities, and the ability to direct and support team members in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires knowledge of departmental and hospital policies related to nursing care, as well as excellent interpretive skills, interactive communication, and consultative collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Perform PICC and midline catheter insertions using ultrasound guidance following evidence-based protocols.
