Education And Credentials Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program preferred. Current NY licensure as a Registered Nurse required. BLS upon hire or within 3 months required. ACLS – Within 1 year of hire required. Experience ED – One year of acute clinical experience required. Surgical Services and ICU – Six (6) months of acute clinical experience preferred.
