Ensures that the surgical room is sterile and safe for the patient. Works side by side with scrub nurses to help maintain the sterile field in the operating room. Must have a strong attention to detail and physical stamina to handle long, arduous work hours. Assess the patient’s condition before a surgical procedure. Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU Full-Time Position As an PACU Registered Nurse, you will care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their consciousness, and manage pain and nausea. Communicate with patients and their families about post-operative care.
