Under the direction and supervision of the physician the clinic LPN is to carry out any duties delegated and requested by the midlevel provider and physician which does not exceed the scope of their practice and licensure by the state. This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Our focus is oncology (from new diagnosis to end of life), respiratory diseases, congestive heart failure, and end of life/hospice. Our nurses are trained and certified to administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments for inpatients. We have a mix of experienced and new graduate nurses who demonstrate great teamwork to provide those we serve with high quality, compassionate care. This position assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team.
