What You'll Do As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals needing assistance to remain safe and independent in their homes. Responsibilities may include: Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Helping with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed Performing light housekeeping and laundry Providing medication reminders Assisting with errands and transportation when authorized Observing and reporting changes in client condition Completing accurate and timely care documentation Maintaining a professional, respectful, and compassionate relationship with clients and their families What We're Looking For Dependable individuals who take their commitments seriously Compassionate, patient, and professional caregivers Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance Ability to pass required background checks Strong communication and time-management skills Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans Willingness to assist with personal care and activities of daily living Flexibility to work with multiple clients when needed Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required Reliability is essential. A Place At Home – Omaha/Papillion is seeking an exceptional, dependable, and professional caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a single individual in the comfort of her own home. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caregiver who takes pride in their work, demonstrates maturity and sound judgment, and understands the importance of professionalism, discretion, and reliability. Professional Expectations This position requires an individual who maintains professional boundaries, handles feedback constructively, demonstrates emotional maturity, and can be counted on to provide consistent, attentive care without unnecessary personal distractions. Personal cell phone use must be kept to a minimum while on duty. Caregivers are expected to remain attentive and engaged with the client throughout their shift. Personal texting, scrolling through social media, watching videos, or spending time on personal phone calls while responsible for client care is not acceptable. Necessary work-related communication and urgent personal matters are exceptions. We are looking for someone who understands that being physically present is not the same as being actively engaged in providing care. Minimum Requirements Ability to pass a criminal background screening. Acceptable driving record. Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Excellent attendance and dependability. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to consistently work the entire posted schedule. Previous caregiving experience strongly preferred.
