A Place At Home is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to join our team!

We currently have multiple clients needing care throughout Omaha and the surrounding area, with shifts beginning as early as 7:30 AM and extending through evening and overnight hours. Whether you're looking for consistent daytime hours, evening shifts, overnight care, or weekend opportunities, we may have the perfect fit for you!

We are especially interested in caregivers who are looking to work multiple hours per week and are willing to provide care for more than one client.

Available Shifts

Early Morning: Shifts beginning as early as 7:30 AM
Daytime: Morning and afternoon care opportunities
Evenings: Afternoon through late-evening shifts
Overnights: Overnight caregiving opportunities
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday shifts
Multiple Clients: Opportunities to build a consistent schedule by working with several clients

Availability and flexibility are important! We work to match caregivers with clients based on scheduling needs, location, experience, and compatibility.

What You'll Do

As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals needing assistance to remain safe and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Helping with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
Performing light housekeeping and laundry
Providing medication reminders
Assisting with errands and transportation when authorized
Observing and reporting changes in client condition
Completing accurate and timely care documentation
Maintaining a professional, respectful, and compassionate relationship with clients and their families

What We're Looking For

Dependable individuals who take their commitments seriously
Compassionate, patient, and professional caregivers
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
Ability to pass required background checks
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans
Willingness to assist with personal care and activities of daily living
Flexibility to work with multiple clients when needed
Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
