Assisting in the admissions and discharge process The RN Supervisor role encompasses not only clinical responsibilities but also administrative duties Requirements for Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN): Nursing and Management experience in a long term care environment preferred. Must be an RN, Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required. Must have current RN License and current CPR or BLS certification. Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight. Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging. Managing IVs, starting IV drips. Monitoring fluid/food intake and output. Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns. Assisting as directed in the admissions process.
