Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Mobility Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids. Meal Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms. Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing Emotional Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement. Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation. Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up. Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy: Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor. Requirements and Qualifications Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and or Assisted Living Facility. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment. Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card. Experience in electronic medical records documentation. Must be 18 years or older. Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
