Director of Nursing (DON) Job Summary: As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing will provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities: Provide visionary leadership to the nursing department, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing nursing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to promote career growth and job satisfaction Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care, including interdisciplinary team meetings, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions to drive positive outcomes Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support high-quality care Represent the organization on various committees, task forces, and industry organizations, promoting our mission and values Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior nursing leadership role Current RN or advanced practice nursing license (required) Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines Commitment to Peak Healthcare's mission and values
