Participates in economical utilization of supplies and ensures that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner. Participates in orientation of new personnel and performance evaluations of nursing staff. Validates telemetry strips every 4 hours and PRN. Documents appropriately. Participates in assessing and meeting patient and family education needs.
