Overview: The Transportation RN (0.6 or 0.8 FTE) is a key member of the School-Based Health Transportation Team, coordinating care for school‑aged children who receive school‑district–provided transportation between their home school and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC). The SBHCs offer a variety of primary care–level services; the RN supports access to this care through telephone outreach to parents/legal guardians to review health histories, obtain informed consent, and offer services. The RN documents accurate, complete clinical information and communicates with the SBHC provider to support safe, seamless care. This position follows the school-year calendar and includes summers off. Pay starts at $34.82 per hour. Overview: Provides comprehensive primary care to children 0–21 in Franklin County. Services are delivered via mobile health units, which travel to community and school sites with health needs, and our school-based health centers, which operate as fully functioning primary care offices in schools. School Health removes barriers to healthcare access and ensures students receive timely, high-quality primary care services that support their health, well-being, and academic success. The NP functions with a high degree of autonomy and is supported by a small team. They are responsible for providing clinical leadership, overseeing daily clinic operations and delivering high-quality patient care. A minimum of 2 years' experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related clinical setting is required.
