Observes facility policies and procedures, including Resident Rights policies. Performs job duties in an efficient, productive, and professional manner. Actively supports the implementation of Hill View’s mission and statement of purpose. Participates in training, workshops, etc. to keep abreast of current issues/trends related to his/her job duties. Attends at least 12 hours of in-services per year. Accepts job assignments with positive spoken word and body language. Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills. The employee must be able to organize work activities with minimal supervision. Must be able to set priorities and plan workload independently. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must have completed at least two years of high school. High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Must have successfully completed state-approved Nursing Assistant training program. Must pass state registry test within four months of employment. Must complete 12 hours of in-service education annually. Long Term Care experience.
