Minimum Qualifications: PA/NP: Appropriate certification required (NCCPA, AANC or AANP) 1-2 years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is required. Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages). Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays. AHA (American Heart Association) BLS certified (classes available upon hire). Available to work a full-time schedule (76 hours per pay period of a mix of 12 and 8-hour shifts). Ability to work weekends (every other weekend) and holidays (every other) per schedule. Job Summary: The Express Care RN practices autonomously and in accordance with professional nursing standards, within the parameters of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and within the policies and procedures of Anderson Hospital . He/she is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and outcome evaluation within the parameters of the Illinois Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act.
