Overview Acute/ED/Wound Care or Rehab experience preferred POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Wound/Enterostomy implements and evaluates the activities for total patient care, following outlined protocols, in the delivery of acute and chronic wound care, enterostomy care, and hyperbaric treatments. Will demonstrate competency in and be responsible for treating various types of patients seen including critically ill and chronically ill patients, ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric. Performs various educational activities, including infection control, aseptic dressing technique, and preventive care. Educates patient, significant other and/or caretaker, including a return demonstration within the Medical Center and community. Area of focus may be inpatient or outpatient. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing Experience: 2 years of nursing experience Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License Other skills/ knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to join our team. This is a remote position based in the Northern Illinois area (you must live in this area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.
