Location: 111 Orient Avenue Boston, Massachusetts, 02128 United States Shifts Available: Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends or on-call coverage Position Overview: The LTC Unit Manager (RN) provides leadership and clinical oversight for a designated nursing unit, ensuring compliance with CMS regulations, Massachusetts DPH requirements, and facility policies. This role supervises nursing staff, coordinates resident care plans, and supports a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and evaluate RNs, LPNs, and CNAs assigned to the unit; oversee daily staffing and scheduling. Provide leadership during surveys, audits, and inspections; ensure CMS and DPH readiness. Promote teamwork, respect, and resident-centered care within the unit. Assess residents’ health, review physician orders, and monitor nursing interventions. Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and ensure timely documentation in the EMR (e.g., PCC). Oversee infection control practices and adherence to standard precautions. Implement QAPI initiatives and monitor key quality indicators (falls, pressure injuries, infection rates).
