Assist with clinical interventions such as incentive spirometry, warm/cold therapies, bladder scans, and deep breathing exercises as directed by the RN. Apply and remove restraints and sequential compression devices as directed by nursing staff Respond to patient call lights and escalate patient needs outside of CNA scope to licensed nurse Observe and communicate changes in patient condition, behavior, and needs to the RN Provide 1:1 patient observation for safety and fall prevention as needed Reinforce patient education and orientation as directed by the RN.
