Full or Part-time $22-$24/HR Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) Position Summary A Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) is a recent nursing program graduate who is awaiting licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York State . Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the GPN provides basic nursing care and supports patient treatment plans in healthcare settings Key Responsibilities Provide basic patient care , including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) Assist with wound care and simple medical procedures Administer medications only as permitted under supervision and state guidelines Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support infection control and safety protocols Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs) Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Supervision Works under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse Cannot practice independently until fully licensed as an LPN GPNs are welcome!
