Medical Assistant, Front and Back Office

$18.90 - $27 / hour
Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice. The Medical Assistant performs clinical support services, assists with clerical duties and maintains patient care documentation in medical records. This position is responsible for providing professional care to patients in an outpatient setting. This position requires travel between Urology Partners locations at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland and Westlake, Ohio. Schedules will be made a month in advance. Responsibilities Assist with in-office procedures. Provide patients with necessary information to prepare for in office or hospital procedures. Administer patient injections, treatments or medication. Maintain a par level of supplies, ensuring supplies are reordered as needed. Maintaining well stocked patient exam rooms. Maintain a clean and sterile environment. Gather and upload necessary medical records for upcoming patient visits. Answer incoming phone calls and triage or schedule as necessary. Check patients out post visit, schedule next follow up as needed. Serve as communication liaison between provider and patient. Responding to patient messages and calls. Regular attendance and punctuality. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved. Perform any other functions as required by management. Qualifications Ability to travel between 2 locations: Fairview Hospital/Cleveland and Westlake (includes mileage reimbursement) Travel between clinics as necessary, up to 50% of the time High School graduate, or equivalent, preferred Certified or eligible for certification within 2 years of employment as a Medical Assistant in the state of employment, or completion of a Medical Assistant program Ability to administer injections, preferred Current CPR certification Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, preferred 2 years of experience Prior EMR experience, preferred At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks Works on basic and routine assignments Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines Work is closely managed and follows detailed instructions Seeks regular guidance and advice from supervisor Location and Hours This position will work at both Urology Partners locations: 18099 Lorain Ave Suite 141 Cleveland, OH 44111 and 29101 Health Campus Drive Westlake, OH 44145 Hours are M-Th: 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break (1/2 hour paid) Friday: 8am-4pm (paid until 5pm) Anticipated pay range: $18.90 per hour - $27 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. Medical Assistant Manager

This position is responsible for the oversight and direct supervision of Medical Assistants that work with Physicians. This position is responsible for ensuring that staff is efficient, professional and providing exceptional patient service. Ensures daily functions are properly staffed to accommodate patient flow and that operations run smoothly throughout the day. Trains and develops employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the functional areas. The position is responsible to ensure policies and procedures for areas of responsibility are adhered to, monitors performance of staff, and resolves patient care and departmental issues. Duties and assignments may vary at the discretion of management. Responsibilities Manage, Implement and maintain workflow processes of staff and patients in the clinic to improve patient experience. Works with Clinic Leadership on clinic workflow issues and staffing opportunities. Resolves patient care and departmental issues involving staff in areas of responsibility, utilizing tact and diplomacy. Licensed Vocational Nurse

What Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to Cardinal Health Nursing is responsible for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care. Examines patients and administers prescribed medications to facilitate healing and increase comfort. Nursing requires training and or licensed to care for patients. The Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) supports the registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or physician in the provision of patient care, to include delivery of patient care, collection of ongoing patient response to care, and patient education. Location cCARE Cancer Center: Fresno 7130 North Millbrook Avenue Fresno, CA 93720 This position is for the Infusion Room and Port Draws. Schedule Monday through Friday, 5 8-hour shifts. Responsibilities Record patient vital signs: pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height. Administer medications to patients and monitor the progress throughout the treatment. May administer injections or give treatments under direction of physician. Schedule or perform clinical procedures as directed. Prepare exam rooms for patient visits. Gather patient information and keep records updated with the relevant data. Maintain effective communication with the medical personnel, patient and patient’s family. Treat wounds, change wound dressings. Collecting samples from patients, which include blood and urine. They may also assist in doing some lab work. Regular attendance and punctuality. Registered Nurse, Triage

What Registered Nurse contributes to Cardinal Health Nursing is responsible for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care. Examines patients and administers prescribed medications to facilitate healing and increase comfort. Nursing requires training and or licensed to care for patients. The Triage Nurse serves as the clinical front line for patient assessment, symptom management, and care coordination across the oncology continuum. This role provides timely telephonic and electronic triage, assesses patient needs using evidence-based protocols, coordinates care with providers and the interdisciplinary team, and ensures safe, efficient navigation through treatment while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming clinical calls, electronic messages, and symptom management needs. Perform comprehensive nursing triage using evidence‑based protocols to assess acuity, escalate appropriately, and coordinate timely interventions. Collaborate with providers to manage treatment‑related symptoms, toxicities, and urgent clinical concerns. Provide patient education, reinforcement of care plans, and guidance on symptom monitoring and follow‑up. Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EMR to support continuity of care and risk management. Support standardized triage workflows to ensure timely, consistent patient responses.
