Caring for patients with complex needs including hemodynamically compromised and mechanically ventilated patients. Initiating and maintain complex IV therapy , including thrombolytic administration, vasoactive medications, central IV catheters, dialysis catheters & arterial lines. Safe use of less invasive, life supporting modalities i.e. BiPAP, ETCO2, arterial pressure based CO/CI & SVO2 monitor, core temperature monitors. Must be able to work 7:00a-7:00p Qualifications Your qualifications should include: Critical Care/Telemetry experience or Telemetry competency within 6 months of hire. State of Illinois Registered Nurse License. Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE school of Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through American Heart Association upon hire and maintained in position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified through American Heart Association upon hire and maintained in position. ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy or Chemotherapy Immunotherapy course obtained within 6 months of hire for experienced RN’s and 12 months for New Grad RNs. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)certification within 6 months of hire and maintained in position. Oncology Certification through ONCC when eligible or 6 oncology CE every year (18 oncology CE total every 3 years) for the Oncology Commission Cancer cycle.
