Our spacious 60 bed facility stewards a diverse patient demographic that includes dementia care, skilled rehabilitation, long term and hospice services that allows you to fit in where you find your passion as a caregiver. You must be licensed as a CNA in the state of Colorado and have the ability to work a rotating schedule OPEN SHIFTS: DAYS and Nights PAY RATE: $22.00 - $26.50 / Hour depending on experience JOB SUMMARY: A certified nursing assistant is responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times, within their scope of practice. JOB DUTIES: Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations, within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant. Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses and disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients, providing continence care when needed, and assessing their patients’ vital signs to notify staff of any changes and assist in maintaining a clean, homelike environment. Work Schedule: 12 Hr. Shifts Pay Rate: $36.00 - $46.00 / Hour – depending on experience JOB SUMMARY: This position to ensure that quality care is delivered through monitoring of staff performance, physician contact, care planning and daily resident observation. This position also provides direct care to residents. All this is done according to nursing standards of practice, standard procedures, and established State and Federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities. JOB DUTIES: Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of the nursing assistants on the unit, assuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks. Communicate on a regular basis with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, and suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, conditions, etc. Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes. Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to assure proper information about residents is communicated. Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges. Assist in the admission, orientation, and observation of new residents, assure that physician orders for diets, therapy, medication, etc. are transcribed and communicated according to procedure.
