Maintains level of observation according to the patient's plan of care and as ordered within medical record. Communicate effectively with the patient's care team including receiving report and providing meaningful handoff. Documents accurately on established workflows within the medical record. Provides hazard surveillance and reduces risk within the patient's physical environment. Engages patient appropriately in distraction activities as needed. Position Summary Responsible to provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents.
