Medical Assistant or PCT

Hours of Job Part Time - Days No weekends or holidays Duties and Key Responsibilities Greets and escorts patients through the medical practice. Completes clinical assessments of patients by completing history of present disease and illnesses with accuracy and documents appropriately in patient electronic medical record. Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in implementing physician orders. Incorporates holistic approach to Patient Centered Medical Home, thus moving beyond problem focused care. Implements and documents clinical and technical aspects of care. Evaluates patient’s response and understanding to plan of care by using teach back method. Openly and appropriately communicates with patients, physicians, and other members of health team. Serves as a liaison for patients with outside agencies, businesses, and providers, establishing a therapeutic relationship with the patient and family. Respect’s patient’s rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with all internal and external customers. Maintains established health system and work area policies and procedures, objectives, guest relations, safety, environmental and infection control guidelines. Assists in care and maintenance of work area equipment and supplies. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Basic clinical skills delivering patient care and clerical skills in an outpatient setting. Obtains and maintains successful completion of BCLS Healthcare Provider Course. Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, physicians, coworkers, and public. Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or will be graduating within 6 months of hire. Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or other certifying body as deemed acceptable by the Practice Manager or will obtain this credentialing within 6 months of hire. Experience Previous medical practice experience preferred but not required. Medical Imaging Assistant

Hours of Job The schedule is flexible, with an estimated commitment of approximately 8 hours per week. This role is well-suited for a student currently pursuing a degree in Radiography. Duties and Key Responsibilities Works under the supervision of the Radiologist, Radiologic Technologist and Radiology Transcriptionist. Accepts and performs patient care duties as assigned by Supervising Allied Health Professional. Performs clerical duties, which may include but is not limited to, patient reception, scheduling and screening. Data entry, filing answering telephones taking and delivering messages. Transports patients safely to and from Medical Imaging and other work areas. Utilizing appropriate mode of transportation for each patient and using assistive devices as necessary such as gait belt, smooth mover, hover jack and Hoyer lift. Screens MRI patients and ensures patients and other safety in the MRI environment. Respects patients’ rights to privacy, dignity and confidentiality. Maintains established hospital and work area policies, procedures, objectives, quality assessment, guest relations, safety, environmental, and infection control. Communicates appropriately with interdisciplinary team and other customers. Consistently practices the behaviors of The Caring Model and Coworker Commitment. Enhances work performance by participating in in-services, staff meetings, community outreach and committees as required. Assists in inventory, care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies. Performs other duties as required. Requirements Ability to concentrate for long periods, work independently and exercise good judgment, keyboarding and basic computer skills. Requires full range of body motion including manual and physical dexterity, hand/eye coordination. Standing or walking minimum of 60% of the time occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 pounds. Education/Certifications High School diploma, equivalent or above. Must be a student actively working toward a degree in Radiography. Experience Healthcare related work, previous experience in Medical Imaging preferred. Nursing Assistant - Med Surg

Hours of Job Full time - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Every Third Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required Duties and Key Responsibilities Nursing Assistant with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be willing and able to complete basic telemetry course that is taught at JTDMH by the JTDMH Education Department, to function in the monitor watcher role. Must also possess solid clinical skills and be capable of performing a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Candidates must also collaborate and interact positively with the interdisciplinary team in order to provide quality patient care and achieve a high level of patient satisfaction. Must also be willing to float to other work areas as needed; to include 2nd and 5th floor. Candidate must also be able to be on feet for long periods of time and possess ability to meet physical effort conditions within job description. Must be willing to work every third weekend and half of the major holidays. STNA preferred but not required. Requirements Weekend rotation. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Hours of Job Full Time Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm. No holidays or weekends required Duties and Key Responsibilities Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching. Assumes a lead role in patient teaching. Places the patient at the center of care practices. Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements BLS/ACLS certification. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed RN in the State of Ohio Basic Life Support and ACLS Experience 1-2 years of nursing experience. Previous experience in critical care setting or pain management preferred. Hours of Job Part Time, (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) 48 hours per pay Every 3rd Weekend and Holiday Rotation Duties and Key Responsibilities Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel. Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
