Weekend Lead On Call Caregiver

Job description: About the Role Home Helpers of Lake Country is seeking a Lead On-Call Caregiver to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care to seniors and individuals in need throughout the Lake Country area. This position ensures consistent care coverage by filling in for call-ins, assisting new clients, and supporting the caregiving team with scheduled shifts. It’s an excellent opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) , home health aides , or caregivers looking for a more flexible, rewarding position in home care . Key Responsibilities Provide in-home personal care and companionship services for seniors and individuals with disabilities Cover shifts on short notice due to call-ins, emergencies, or new client needs Assist in training and mentoring new caregivers in the field Support office and management tasks as needed Ensure quality, safety, and consistency in client care Qualifications Full availability Friday 4PM-Monday 4PM (guaranteed pay regardless of weekly hours worked) Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record Ability to pass background and drug screening Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving experience preferred Strong communication skills and a professional, dependable attitude Compensation and Benefits $480 guaranteed weekly pay (based on 15 or more scheduled hours; additional hourly compensation for hours worked over 24 hours; overtime available beyond 40 hours) Paid time off Early wage access Referral bonuses Employer contributions toward AFLAC benefits Company-paid vision and dental insurance Paid training and continuing education (CEUs) Career advancement opportunities within a highly rated home care agency Service Area This position serves clients across Oconomowoc, Delafield, Hartland, Waukesha, and Watertown, Wisconsin.
