Under supervision, the MA assists in the delivery of medical care to the patient in compliance with and understanding of that care and assists in running an efficient and professional practice. Assists with procedures, patient education, schedule patients for tests and appointments, accomplishes phone triage. Assists providers and RN in maintaining a consistent and smooth patient flow. The LPN must be capable of functioning as a member of the team and perform circulating duties as necessary. Major Responsibilities Medical Assistant - Certified : Rooms patients and obtains vitals.
