Department: TCW Family Med - EDH Shift: Primarily Days (United States of America) Employee Type: Regular Per Diem Type (if applicable): Minimum Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.15 Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant of Marshall Medical Clinics works with providers and staff to ensure effective medical care is delivered to all patients in a timely, dignified, and caring manner. This position maintains the continuity of patient care in order to ensure the utmost patient satisfaction. The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for their examination/visit and assist the providers as needed; completes medication refills, lab result follow ups, referrals to specialists, patient callbacks, orders medical supplies, and cleans/sterilizes medical equipment and exam rooms. Medical Assistants of Marshall Medical Center will be expected to float to other clinics when needed and perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and achievements of all Marshall Medical Clinics. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Licensure/Certification: · Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. · Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. To qualify for Medical Assistant 2: · Current Medical Assistant (MA) certification from the California Certified Medical Assistant Board (CCMA) or the National American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) required or an approved certifying body required. Knowledge: · Previous experience with injections, EKG’s, medication administration and/or taking vital signs required. · Basic computer/data entry and electronic medical record (EMR) experience required. · Knowledge of medical terminology, patient/family health education required. Skills: · Accurate and clear clinical documentation in Electronic Medical Record. · Excels in verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. · Strong organizational skills and the ability to reprioritize work demands as needed. · Possesses a pleasant and friendly demeanor and ability to maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude. · Comfortable with regularly verifying and processing insurance eligibility and obtaining authorization requests, including verifying personal credentials with external partners to obtain this information (e.g., ID.me for identity verification for VA insurance coordination).

Department: Emergency Shift: Primarily Nights (United States of America) Employee Type: Regular Per Diem Type (if applicable): Minimum Pay Range: $59.28 - $71.14 Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Emergency Staff RN assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process for a designated time frame. Provides care of these patients according to Marshall’s standard of practice. Maintains good public relations by interacting with patients, visitors, physicians, and other staff members in a friendly and professional manner. Functions as the patient’s advocate at all times. Oversees the performance of any non-professional whose activities impact their patient’s care. Ensures the safe handling of infectious material and ensures patient and staff safety at all times. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Certification: Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification strongly preferred within 6 months of hire Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) strongly preferred within 2 years of hire Trauma Nursing Core Courses (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire Knowledge: 2 years RN experience required. ER experience preferred. Per Diem status positions, 2+ years Emergency department experience is strongly preferred. Skills: ·Has the physical and mental health sufficient to accomplish the duties of a RN and is able to meet the pharmacology requirements of Marshall Medical Center. ·Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment. ·Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment. ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ·Familiarity with EPIC. ·Must have basic computer skills.
