RN Night Supervisor

*****This is located in the town of Okeechobee in Okeechobee County***** ****Signing bonus of $7500.00 to be paid out incrementally every 90 days. RN Supervisor- Full Time-Nights (7pm-7am) Rotating Weekends Essential Duties Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility. Confirm that all nursing personnel assigned comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities. Make nightly rounds of the Nursing Department to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their assignments. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents as required. Job Requirements: One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred. Must have a current/active CPR certification. Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Florida . As of October 13, 2024

Signing Bonus of $5,000.00 to be paid out incrementally at $1250.00 every 90 days. (Full time only). $38-$42/hr. based on experience Night shift differential Duties Responsible for the overall care for the residents on their assigned unit. Walking rounds with offgoing nurse to receive updates on each resident Receive, transcribe, and initiate orders from physicians Administer medications and complete any treatment orders as ordered by physicians Ensure all medications are ordered through the Pharmacy in a timely manner Collaborate with the MDS/Care Plan Team to develop and maintain up to date plan of care for residents Complete required documentation in the resident's chart Responsible to contact Physician and family for any change of condition with resident Walking round with physicians when they are in the building Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants on the unit Ensure tasks are complete prior to the end of shift Walking rounds with oncoming nurse to give update on resident status Other Requirements: Clear/Active Florida License or Compact License Pass a Level II Background Check Must be able to pass a drug screen and be medically cleared Effective October 13, 2024

Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant ***Signing bonus of $1000.00 to be paid out incrementally every 90 days. $16/hr-17/hr. $2 Weekend differential $2 Night shift differential Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc., as necessary. Assist resident with bowel and bladder functions (i.e., take to bathroom, offer bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc.). Assist residents in preparing for activity and social programs (i.e., church services, parties, visitors, etc.). Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed. Assist residents with bathing functions (i.e., bed bath, tub or shower bath, etc.) as directed. Assist residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.). Assist residents with dressing/undressing as necessary. Assist residents with personal grooming (i.e., combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.). Assist non-diabetic residents with nail care including clipping, trimming, cleaning the fingers, fingernails and toenails. Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. Assist with the application of nonsterile (moist and dry) warm/cold compresses. Assist with the application of slings, elastic bandages, binders, etc. Support the resident through meaningful activities that match his or her individual abilities by simplifying or segmenting tasks for residents who have trouble following complex directions based upon the comprehensive assessment. Change bed linens in resident rooms. Check and report bowel movements and character of stools as instructed. Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes. Collect specimens as instructed (i.e., urine, sputum, stools, etc.). Follow established infection prevention and control procedures. Maintain intake and output records as instructed. Observe and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent pressure injuries. Attend change of shift reports. Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed in accordance with the individualized plan of care. Provide non-pharmacological interventions for pain in accordance with the plan of care. RN Weekend Supervisor

*****This is in the town of Okeechobee in Okeechobee County***** RN Weekend Supervisor This is an every weekend position. 12 hours shifts (7a-7p) ****Signing bonus of $7500.00 to be paid out incrementally every 90 days. ****We are looking for an energetic team player for this position**** Duties may include, but not limited to: Ensure the facility meets the minimum staffing levels for nurses, CNAs, PCAs Ensure nurse staffing projections are posted Ensure that all resident rooms, common areas, treatment areas and nurse's stations are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner Assist with safe and orderly resident transfers and discharges in accordance with facility policies Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, documenting, etc. as necessary Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity, respect, and consideration and have the right to exercise their choice and self-determination Ensure residents receive culturally competent trauma informed care in accordance with professional standards of practice Ensure residents are free from physical or chemical restraints imposed for the purpose of discipline or convenience that are not required to treat the residents' medical symptoms Complete accident/incident reports as necessary Keep the Director of Nursing informed of the status of residents and other related matters through written/oral reports Direct the day to day functions of the nursing team in accordance with current rules and regulations Coordinate with Staffing Coordinator to ensure staffing requirements are met Develop positive professional relationships with staff Assist in grievance process in coordination with grievance officer Assist DON/Risk Manager with reportable incident investigations Collaborate with HR, DON, and Educator on training, skills development, competencies, and in-servicing as needed Assist DON and Educator in planning clinical supervision for nurse aide trainees, nursing students and newly hired nursing staff. Requirements: Must possess an active Florida RN License or a Compact RN License Must pass a Level II Background Check
