About the Role: As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of our nursing department, including the delivery of skilled nursing services, coordination with physicians, and management of nursing staff. You will work closely with the administration team to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our mission to provide individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services. Your expertise and leadership skills will enable you to motivate and guide our nursing team to deliver exceptional care to our residents. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including the delivery of skilled nursing services, medication management, and wound care. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to improve patient outcomes. Lead and manage a team of licensed nurses and other staff members to provide high-quality patient care. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions as needed. Participate in budget planning, financial management, and quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrate a commitment to resident-centered care, dignity, and respect for all individuals. Requirements: Graduate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) required; Doctoral degree preferred.
