Job Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff to ensure adherence to best practices, standards of care, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance the quality and safety of patient care. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting evidence-based practices and staff development initiatives. Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing personnel. Analyze data, trends, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Lead interdisciplinary teams in root cause analysis, action planning, and performance monitoring to achieve quality goals and objectives. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents. Facilitate interdisciplinary meetings to discuss resident progress, coordinate care transitions, and address complex medical and psychosocial issues. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other departments to promote effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork. Qualifications of the Director of Nursing: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Valid State licensure as an RN Familiar with local, state & federal regulations for Long-Term Care Experience in supervising nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible. Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information. Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with residents, families, and other employees at all levels.'

Prepares, administer and documents medications following accepted practices. Consults with licensed or registered nurse, physician or licensed independent practitioner. Clarifies any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective or contraindicated by consulting with the appropriate licensed practitioner. Other duties as assigned.
