In the absence of the Administrator, assumes the responsibility for center operations. The Director of Nursing RN conducts the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - under the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure scope. N Leadership, RN Leader, Nurse Manager, RN Manager, Nurse Director, RN Director, DON, Director of Nursing Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred. Licenses/Certification: Registered RN Licensed Nurse with a current license in the District of Columbia. Experience: Five years in long-term or acute healthcare preferred. At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
