This role involves providing direct care in areas such as intravenous therapy, respiratory therapy, and restorative rehab, while also supporting fellow nurses performing related therapies or treatments. Responsibilities Include: Resident Assessment: Upon admission, readmission, and reevaluation, assess each resident’s respiratory status, risk factors, and needs relevant to nursing, rehabilitation, and intravenous treatment, in collaboration with an RN and medical professional. Initiate Orders and Care Plans: Initiate all appropriate orders, tasks, consults, and care plans for respiratory, nursing, restorative, and intravenous therapies as necessary. Review Orders and Documentation: Regularly review current orders, tasks, care plans, and documentation to ensure they are appropriate and up-to-date.
