Overview: Oxford Clinic for Women, a Partner Practice of Together Women’s Health (TWH) , an industry leading network of medical providers in the women’s health field, is looking for a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their clinical team. As an experienced practitioner, the LPN is accountable for providing high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patients and their families through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. This position is typically scheduled Monday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST. Schedule may vary based on practice needs and staff coverage. No weekends. Responsibilities: Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and complete Prepare patients for and assist with examination or treatments Communicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patient Provides education and information to patients and family members Consults with other specialties and disciplines as appropriate to meet all health care needs of patients Uses organizational skills to effectively complete assignments in timely manner Cleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical supplies Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc. Counsels’ patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level Understand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirements Perform office procedures including all general administrative duties Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions Assure HIPAA and OSHA compliance Qualifications: Current license to practice as an LPN Current CPR certification An Associate's or bachelor’s degree, or higher Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? Overview: North Shore Associates , a practice partner of Together Women's Health , is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join their growing medical team. The Medical Assistant embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. This role ensures each patients' encounter is professional, warm and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs. This position will support both Wilmette and Glenview locations, and candidates must be available to work at both offices. Responsibilities: Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter into Electronic Medical Record Set up and prepare exam room for patient visit to ensure cleanliness Perform any preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals Set up any additional diagnostic and/or treatment equipment Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed Complete all documentation pertaining to patient's medical record, test requests, medications and patient education with accuracy and timeliness May perform Scribe duties Assist the physician as directed Must work well in a team environment Qualifications: Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) 1+ years in a medical office Experience with EMR system(s) and medical terminology is required Previous experience at an OBGYN office (Preferred) What’s in it for you?
