Responsibilities

Major Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive health care to eligible beneficiaries in an ambulatory setting in association with staff physicians and other medical staff.
  • Provide care and treatment of acute illness or injury, chronic illness, preventative health measures, health Maintenace, and health education service.
  • Provide follow-up care to patients to ascertain the patient's compliance with recommendations for therapy and response to treatment.
  • Analyze and interpret routine laboratory results.
  • Prescribe and dispense controlled medications.
  • Maintain a complete electronic medical record for each patient by recording subjective and objective findings for each visit and ensure that an assessment plan and plan are formulated and documented for each visit.

Performs other duties as assigned.
