Job Summary:

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking to recruit a General Surgery focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) for employment to a busy General Surgery group based in the north Houston suburb community of North Cypress.

Qualified Candidates:

Acute care APP training and experience with general surgery is strongly preferred.
Must be able to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license.
Ability to communicate general surgery plans with primary team.
Maintenance of acute care certification.

About the Opportunity/Hospital:

Hours are roughly 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday, but some days may start earlier, or end later.
Duties include rounding on inpatient general surgery patients as a consult service, evaluating patients before and after procedures.
Two days of clinic per week.
Operating Room participation welcomed but not required.
