Director of Nursing (DON) Central Ohio | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and help ensure the highest standards of resident care, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader who can build and support a high-performing nursing team while creating a positive, resident-centered culture. What You’ll Do Provide overall leadership and direction for the nursing department. Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centered resident care. Hire, train, coach, develop, and retain nursing team members. Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and resident satisfaction. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards. Oversee infection prevention and control practices and clinical protocols. Collaborate with physicians, therapy, social services, dietary, and other departments to support comprehensive resident care. Participate in care planning, assessments, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives. Review and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition, incidents, and clinical concerns. Provide guidance and support to nurses, STNAs, and other clinical team members.
