PCU provides care both before and after procedures for Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular labs. Procedures include TAVR's, ablations, biopsies, catheterizations and more. PCU is considered an outpatient/closed unit, there are no floating requirements. Day shift holiday requirement: Either one working holiday or one on call shift. Weekend: One 12 hour shift every six weeks required either Saturday or Sunday Scheduling: 6 week set/repeating schedule allowing you to know your schedule for a better work life balance. Each shift provides a different experience as the Flex associate potentially supports a different unit/care-site for each scheduled shift. Flex associates are assigned to a care site anywhere from two hours to weeks in advance. This position requires a strong clinical nurse who feels confident and comfortable in asking questions and seeking clarifications when necessary.
