Implement plan for the care of the residents based on assessments and goals established by the interdisciplinary care team. Ensures residents at end of life or on hospice services are kept clean, dry and comfortable. Demonstrates daily competence and follows regulatory guidelines in nursing clinical skills such as wound care, foley care, respiratory treatments, vital signs, lung sounds, bowel sounds, apical heart rate and safe medication administration. Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions Confirms and transcribes all new medical orders on assigned unit prior to end of shift.
