Position Summary

The Evening Home Health Aide (HHA) provides hands-on personal care and daily support to residents during the evening shift. This role is essential in maintaining resident comfort, safety, and well-being while supporting a calm and respectful environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care to assisted living residents

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and medication reminders

  • Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff

  • Promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment

  • Build positive relationships with residents and team members

Qualifications

  • Current New York State HHA certification (required)

  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Experience working with seniors preferred
