Position Summary

The Evening Home Health Aide (HHA) provides hands-on personal care and daily support to residents during the evening shift. This role is essential in maintaining resident comfort, safety, and well-being while supporting a calm and respectful environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide person-centered care to assisted living residents
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Support residents with meals, hydration, and medication reminders
Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment
Build positive relationships with residents and team members

Qualifications

Current New York State HHA certification (required)
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Experience working with seniors preferred
