Position Qualifications:

  • PA/FNP must have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program and received and maintained certification.
  • Two years minimum suggested experience level.
  • Must have experience with reading radiographs and dispensing medication.
  • Must have Alaska License and DEA license.
  • Be current on CME requirements.
  • Must have the computer skills needed to access computerized medical records.
  • Needs the skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the area of their specialty. Ability to supervise and mentor NP, PA students and oversee community Health Aide clinical practice.

Qualifications & Skills Master’s in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program Active RN license in Missouri and Nurse Practitioner certification Specialty certification (as required by Missouri Board of Nursing) Active Collaborative Practice Agreement Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification 3–5 years of clinical experience (preferably in mental health or primary care) Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Leadership ability and team-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills across diverse populations Commitment to working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness Ability to manage challenging patient behavior with empathy and professionalism Aligned with TMC’s mission and values
