The Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center is seeking an exceptional ADON- Assistant Director of Nursing/ Unit Manager to join our team! As a key member of our Nursing Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting the highest quality of care for our residents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional with a passion for nursing and leadership. As an ADON- Assistant Director of Nursing/ Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, including staff performance, quality assurance activities, and timeliness of MDS data entry and submission.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for supervising areas of Nursing Services including staff performance, quality assurance activities, and timeliness of MDS data entry and submission

  • Supervise and develop personnel, ensuring a high standard of care and service delivery

  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and best practices in healthcare

  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to improve patient care and operations

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services to develop and implement goals and objectives for Nursing Services

  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including resident surveys and assessments

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community organizations

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • LPN/RN License in the state of Missouri

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead and develop personnel

  • Knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare

  • Ability to improve patient care and outcomes

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
