Position Overview

A long‑term care facility in Mitchell, SD is seeking a dependable and compassionate Travel LPN for an 8‑week NOC‑shift contract beginning 2/16. This role is ideal for an LPN who thrives in a steady overnight routine and enjoys providing high‑quality care to geriatric residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective nursing care to LTC residents
  • Perform assessments and follow individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols
  • Document resident status and interventions accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility standards

Qualifications

  • Active LPN license (SD or compact)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent LTC experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently during NOC shifts
