Minimum Requirements: 

Clinical Nurse-NCL track: 

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school 
  • 15+ months of relevant professional nursing experience 
  • Pennsylvania RN licensure 
  • BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association) 
  • Car, valid driver's license, and car insurance 

OR 

Clinical Nurse 2 track: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school 
  • 15+ months of relevant professional nursing experience 
  • Pennsylvania RN licensure 
  • BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association) 
  • Car

Job Description Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Registered Nurse as our enterprise, Director for Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing . This will be a hybrid position. This role can be based out of Nemours Children’s Hospital Wilmington, Delaware or Orlando Florida location. This is a new role that will enhance / improve the value analysis process, as well as the Strategic Sourcing function. Primary Responsibilities Lead enterprise Value Analysis program in pursuit of value, cost savings, standardization, quality, and safety. Lead and provide consultation to Nemours Children’s Health in the clinical review and evaluation of products. Act as a resource for Materials Management personnel, clinical personnel, and Value Analysis Teams. Transport Nurse (Nights)

Job Description Nemours is seeking a Transport Registered Nurse! We are currently hiring for night shift 7P-7A. Schedules will include every third weekend and every third holiday. The Nemours Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team (CCTT) operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week to stabilize and transport sick and injured children. Our teams consist of two to four health care professionals, of which two are typically nurses. Direct medical command is supplied by board-certified pediatric intensivists. The CCTT nurse assumes responsibility and is accountable for the delivery and management of expert, specialty care of the critically ill or injured neonate, infant, child, or adolescent during inter-facility pediatric transports. Principal admitting diagnoses includes prematurity, respiratory illnesses, neurological disorders and trauma patients. The team uses specially-designed equipment to maintain or exceed the level of care provided by referring facilities, to include multi-parameter vital-sign monitors, high-flow oxygen delivery units, mechanical ventilators, Nitric Oxide delivery units, cooling units, compact infusion pumps and defibrillator/external pacemakers. Advanced procedures performed by CCTT staff include vascular access (intravenous and intraosseous), endotracheal intubation, chest decompression and advanced airway management. Ninety (90) percent of patients are transported by ambulance; the remaining patients are flown by helicopter. Patient placement includes specialty care units such as pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, cardiac intensive care, burn units, emergency and surgical units, as well as the general pediatric floors. In addition to performing inter-hospital transports, the CCTT staff assists with patient care in the PICU, NICU, and ED, and serves as resources to other nursing units within the hospital. The Nemours CCTT is honored to be one of only a few pediatric transport teams to offer and successfully transport patients on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). RN - 4E, Med Surg (dayshift)

Job Description Nemorus is seeking an RN to join our 4E, Med Surg team in Wilmington, DE. 4 East is a 24-bed general, specialty and subspecialty medical unit with a high population of patients requiring respiratory or gastrointestinal management. Each single patient room is equipped with oxygen, compressed air and suction, along with state-of-the-art cardiorespiratory bedside monitors and computers that enable the healthcare team to access a patient’s electronic medical record. These computers are also used in the barcoding administration of medications which ensures patient safety by verifying that the correct medication is given to the appropriate child. This unit’s goals are to provide high-quality, cost-effective, family-centered care. Family-centered care rounds are performed daily to assure an inter-professional approach and partnership with the patient and family. Schedule: 60 hrs every 2 wks, day shift RN with every third weekend requirement and holiday rotation package (plus flex holiday) as needed. Specialty Nurse - Weight Management

Job Description Nemours is seeking a Specialty Nurse, Health Weight and Wellness to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. This is a full-time position. The Healthy Weight and Wellness (HWW) Specialty Nurse will be a full-time member of a growing HWW team providing comprehensive treatment to a diverse population of children and adolescents with obesity and related comorbidities. The RN’s primary responsibility will be to assist medical providers with responsibilities outside of clinic visits, including obtaining medication authorizations, refilling medications, answering patient messages and phone calls, calling patients prior to visits to facilitate visit attendance. The RN will also provide outpatient consultations for medication checks and will participate in the HWW call schedule. The RN may assist with clinical trials related to pharmacologic treatment for obesity. The specialty nurse will utilize the nursing process as a basis for providing and evaluating nursing care. Candidates should have excellent time management skills, be a proactive worker, work well in a team environment, and possess the desire to engage in obesity patient care. Responsibilities Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care related to patient needs. Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate teaching and/or referrals. Participates in responding to patient phone calls and messages. Explains treatment regimens to patient/family after having discussed with the physician or advanced practice provider. Demonstrates ability to share clinical knowledge with other members of the health care team; works collaboratively with Nursing Education Department to share subspecialty knowledge with nursing staff. Acts as a liaison between families and members of the health care team. Utilizes specialized body of knowledge and technical skills in nursing practice related to subspecialty in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and protocol. Participates in the development of standards of care for the specialty patient population. Demonstrates proficiency in the care of children and adolescents. Recognizes and identifies own learning needs and responsibility for continual development; strives to increase knowledge and identifies goals for professional growth.
