JOB HIGHLIGHTS--QMAP

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with activities of daily living and coordinating their medication administration.

Responsibilities--QMAP

  • Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
  • Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals. 
  • Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
  • Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
  • Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director

Responsible for weekly deep cleaning of all med carts. Responsible for verifying all current MARs are compared to new MARs at change over time. Provide personal care to residents to residents as needed, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating. Provide general nursing care to include, but not limited to, vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights. Document appropriate information in the daily log as required. Qualifications At least 6 months of experience in a senior care setting. You must have a state-specific QMAP certificate. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have a professional and positive demeanor. You have a strong attention to detail.
