Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based program.
  • Anatomy and Physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology, instrumentation, and medical equipment knowledge
  • Clinical Competencies; Sterilization techniques; Operating Room instruments and supplies; medical terminology.
  • Six (6) months of experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unit.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
